About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. This entry-level training job is for neurodiagnostic electroencephalographic technologists who will train to perform neurodiagnostic electroencephalographic procedures, maintain medical records, equipment, and accessories, and learn about safety and infection prevention. Trainees will also assist with office duties and perform miscellaneous duties. The goal is to prepare individuals to take the Registered Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technologist (R.EEG T.) or Registered Polysomnogram Technologist (R. PSG T.) board examination. Upon meeting minimum qualifications, eligible employees can promote to Neurodiagnostic Technologist I (JC: 040802).

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• None.
• None.
• Must meet Neurodiagnostic Technician I minimum qualifications within twelve (12) months post-hire; failure to do so will result in issuance of a progressive corrective action plan, up to and including discharge/termination.

Responsibilities
