Responsibilities

  • Perform routine assigned neurodiagnostic studies in the inpatient and outpatient settings as requested
  • Studies include EEG, LTM, Routine and Ambulatory
  • Assists with department projects including but not limited to research, database maintenance, and quality improvement
  • The technologist may be asked to head projects, taking a lead role in the maintenance and completion of neurophysiology task that aid the lab and/or the scientific community
  • Prepare rooms before and after studies and/or procedures
  • Explains details of procedure to patients, in accordance with standards of practice as defined by Cedars-Sinai and applicable certifying or regulatory standards
