About The Position

The Neurodiagnostic Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision of Neurodiagnostic testing / monitoring, program advancement, personnel management, training, quality assessment and assurance. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a patient care plan. Shows professional responsibility and accountability for own practice and supports the department’s philosophy of care. Requirements

• Either an Associate’s degree or higher in health care or related field from an accredited college or university or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic (NDT) Program.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing Neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Registered through the Neurodiagnostic credentialing board, ABRET and in addition holds one of the following credentials in the Neurodiagnostic services overseen, which can include but not limited to R. EEG T., EP T., CLTM, R. NCS. T., CNIM.
• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability).
• Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years’ experience performing Neurodiagnostic procedures in a patient care environment with 1 year supervisory / leadership experience.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Certification in clinical area

• Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
