About The Position

This position is responsible for providing programmatic management of neurodiagnostic testing and monitoring for the Neurophysiology department. The Manager is accountable for program advancement, personnel management, quality assessment, operational and financial direction of diagnostic services as well as the day-to-day operations of the Neurophysiology department through implementation of strategy, policy, direction and action plans. The incumbent will manage the ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions. Accountable for driving preeminence throughout the assigned area. Preeminence is being acknowledged as a leader in quality, clinical care, education and research by your peers. Acts as a partner of the IU Health leadership team and participates in the strategic planning and the attainment of goals for area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Requires Registration by ABRET in EEG and EP.
  • Requires certification by ABRET in CNIM and CLTM within 24 months of hire.
  • Requires Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Requires extensive experience working in a Neurophysiology Laboratory.
  • Requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Requires leadership skills necessary to facilitate small work groups.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or related fields is preferred (e.g. Public Health, Health Science Education, Health Administration, Business Administration, etc...).
  • Experience with Magnetoencephalography (MEG) is a plus!
  • Upcoming neurodiagnostic technologist graduate or recent graduate (Note: This seems to be for a different pipeline, but is mentioned in the text).

Responsibilities
