This is a full-time float position within the Greater Charlotte Market for a Neurodiagnostic EMGTech. The role involves performing routine and complex electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures, nerve conduction studies (NCV), evoked potential (EP), and other neurodiagnostic procedures. The technologist will demonstrate knowledge of equipment operation and calibration, identify and correct equipment issues, and use appropriate test strategies. They will obtain relevant patient information, transfer it to reports, and adapt methods for optimal results based on patient history and findings. Adherence to ABRET standards, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with specialized procedures are key responsibilities. The role also includes managing medical emergencies like seizures, practicing proper infection control, ensuring safe use of hazardous materials, providing preceptor supervision to new technologists and interns, and participating in supply management.
