Neurodiagnostic Assistant
About The Position
The Neurodiagnostic Assistant is a patient care support position designed to be flexible to meet specific needs of the department and EEG Technologist. The Neurodiagnostic team is comprised of EEG Technologists, EEG Technicians and Neurodiagnostic Assistants. These individuals work together to set up patients with appropriate equipment, allowing for monitoring and recording of electrical activity of a patient’s brain waves. This in turn allows us to provide physicians proof of any brain abnormalities. The team provides support for Butterworth, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, Blodgett, 25 Michigan and 35 Michigan.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
