About The Position
The Neurodiagnostic Assistant (NDA) monitors patients undergoing continuous Electroencephalograms for safety. The NDA has knowledge of monitoring systems and camera controls. The NDA alerts the Neurodiagnostic Technologist when clinical seizures or paroxysmal events occur however, the NDA is not qualified to analyze EEG data.
Requirements
- No less than 20 hours of observation in Epilepsy Monitoring Units or Neurodiagnostic Laboratory under the direction of a credentialed Neurodiagnostic Technologist.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of the ASET online course; LTM 100, titles introduction to LTM for EMU personnel.

- First year of accredited Neurodiagnostic Program completed.
