This role involves monitoring seizure patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) using a remote video system. The assistant will be responsible for recognizing, classifying, and documenting seizure activity, as well as placing, removing, and maintaining electrodes for both video EEG and continuous EEG ICU patients. A key responsibility includes determining when to activate emergency measures and alert appropriate personnel during patient seizures.
