Inova Children’s is seeking a Specialty Advanced Practice Provider (0.4 FTE) to support the development of our growing Fetal MRI and neurodevelopmental follow-up program. This unique role will focus on building a comprehensive, system-wide approach to the evaluation and management of infants and children at high risk for developmental delays, including those with complex neonatal courses such as NICU graduates and patients with congenital heart disease. Primarily based in the outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting, this provider will play a key role in delivering longitudinal neurodevelopmental care. Responsibilities include performing standardized developmental assessments, monitoring growth and neurologic progression, identifying early signs of delay, and coordinating early intervention and subspecialty services. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, the APP will help ensure continuity of care from acute hospitalization through outpatient follow-up, while also supporting families in navigating resources and care plans. This position offers the opportunity to shape and expand a critical program, with potential future involvement in fetal and/or inpatient services. Candidates with neonatal experience are strongly preferred. Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.
