The NEURO TELEMETRY Unit provides care for adult patients requiring telemetry monitoring, with a focus on high-quality care and a satisfying patient and family experience. The role involves coordinating, supervising, and implementing patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge, and evidence-based practice. Staff Nurses are expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, the Nurse Practice Act, and the hospital job description. This includes assessing patient/family health problems and resources, and taking a leadership role in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. The position provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.

Requirements

One (1) year RN experience upon hire
ADN Diploma
BSN or Foreign Equivalent upon hire
Current AZ State RN License in good standing upon hire
Current American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

One (1) year IMCU/Telemetry experience
American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

Provide clinical expertise, support, and oversight to ensure patients receive exceptional care.
Coordinate, supervise, and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge, and evidence-based practice.
Assess patient/family health problems and resources.
Take a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.
Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.
