Neuro Step Down RN-BAMC
About The Position
GiaMed JV, a joint venture between MedTrust LLC and GiaCare Inc., is hiring civilian Registered Nurses to work at Brooke Army Medical Center, serving military heroes and their families. This position is for the Neuro Step Down unit, offering a patient-focused environment within the Department of Defense's largest facility and only Level 1 Trauma Center. The role provides a structured environment with low patient ratios, support from LVNs and Techs, and no on-call requirements. The schedule rotates between 3 months of day shifts and 3 months of night shifts, with 36-40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Must be U.S. citizen
- Valid Registered Nursing license for any U.S. jurisdiction
- BLS, ACLS current
- At least one (1) year of full-time experience working as an RN in an Adult Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) years (full-time) in clinical nursing within the last four (4) years.
