About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and certified Neuro Sonographer to join our specialized diagnostic imaging team. This position requires a professional with advanced training and certification in Neurosonography, particularly with expertise in cerebrovascular ultrasound, transcranial Doppler (TCD) and carotid duplex study. Requirements

One of the following: 1) Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredit. 2) Successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required. 3) Registered in the specialty that you are applied for by ARDMS or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least 1 year of full-time experience required
ARDMS or CCI certification
BLS from the American Heart Association
Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Perform neurosonography procedures, including cerebrovascular ultrasound, transcranial Doppler (TCD), and carotid duplex studies.
Provide patient-centered healthcare.
Float between San Diego and Chula Vista locations as needed.
Participate in the on-call rotation.
