About The Position

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Neuro New Graduate (RN) for a full-time, in-person position. As a New Graduate RN, you will be automatically enrolled in a comprehensive 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support your transition from a new graduate to a confident, competent registered nurse. The program is structured across three key phases: clinical competence, culture transition, and leadership development. Each phase is designed to guide your growth, strengthen your skills, and build confidence in delivering patient care. The CCU team consists of highly skilled critical care nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary support staff dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Services include hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, cardiac drips, emergency response stabilization, and post-intensive procedural care. The unit is committed to promoting optimal patient outcomes while supporting patients and families through critical and complex healthcare situations.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited nursing school
  • RN Licensure
  • BCLS

Responsibilities

  • Performing comprehensive assessments, identifying patient needs, and initiating appropriate interventions.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members to deliver safe, high-quality care.
  • Exhibiting adaptability and resilience while effectively managing time and prioritizing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Showing curiosity and a willingness to learn by asking questions, seeking feedback, and continuously building clinical knowledge and confidence.
