About The Position

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Neuro LPN/LVN to join their team. This full-time, in-person role is on the 2 North Med Surg/Telemetry unit, which specializes in caring for patients with neurological needs. The unit has 39 beds and operates with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, supported by Patient Care Assistants/Technicians. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are passionate about providing high-quality care to neuro patients. The role involves caring for a wide range of patient populations, from neonates to older adults, and accessing protected health information including demographic, clinical, insurance, and financial data. Employees may have occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• BCLS required.
• Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with neurological needs.
• Administer care to various patient populations including neonate, infant, early childhood, late childhood, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, and older adult.
• Access and manage protected health information, including demographic, clinical, insurance, and financial data.
• Work collaboratively with a team of nurses and support staff in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
