This job is an integral member of one of our teams responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of our technical solutions, ensuring their efficient and reliable operation. This position will be responsible for contributing to our technical ecosystem including infrastructure, systems, networks, applications, and integrations. They will work closely with other technical professionals, analysts, and engineers to build and optimize solutions, ensuring quality, integrity, and performance. The ideal candidate is adaptable, solution-oriented, and capable of collaborating across multiple teams to support a broad range of technical initiatives. The incumbent, and team, may be involved in every aspect as a part of the technical process from idea generation, analysis, design, build, and support using various technologies and design patterns. The ideal candidate will possess highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer with a strong foundation in core technical networking. This includes advanced routing and switching expertise, specifically BGP (internet edge, route policy, multi-homing), OSPF/EIGRP (large-scale design, convergence tuning), and EVPN/VXLAN (modern DC fabrics). Essential skills also encompass Datacenter Networking, such as spine-leaf architectures (Cisco ACI, Arista, VXLAN fabrics) and load balancing concepts with F5 BIG-IP, including SSL offload. Proficiency in Enterprise WAN is also critical, covering SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Versa, Fortinet), MPLS, DIA, and hybrid WAN architectures. Finally, strong Wireless Networking skills are required, including large-scale enterprise WLAN design (Cisco 9800, Wi-Fi 6/6E), RF fundamentals, site surveys, and roaming optimization. Network Security Skills are increasingly vital for this role. Candidates should have experience with Firewall & Segmentation technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, zone-based architectures, microsegmentation for Zero Trust initiatives) and Network Access Control (Forescout, Cisco ISE, posture enforcement). Expertise in Cloud Security & Edge is also important, including SASE solutions (Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access) and DDoS mitigation, WAF/CDN (Cloudflare, Akamai, F5). Furthermore, strong knowledge of Encryption & Identity, such as IPSec VPNs, SSL/TLS, and certificate lifecycle management, is expected. A solid understanding of Cloud & Hybrid Networking is a key requirement. This includes Public Cloud Networking (Azure VNets, AWS VPCs, GCP networking, private connectivity via ExpressRoute or Direct Connect), Hybrid Architecture Design (on-premise to cloud integration, multi-cloud routing, failover patterns), and familiarity with Cloud-native constructs like load balancers, gateways, and private endpoints. For senior roles, robust capabilities in Automation & Infrastructure as Code are critical. This involves hands-on experience with Network Automation Tools such as Itential, Ansible, Terraform, and Nornir. Proficiency in Programming/Scripting, specifically Python (with libraries like Netmiko, NAPALM, and APIs) and REST API integrations, is also highly valued. Candidates should be familiar with Source of Truth Systems (NetBox, IP Fabric, ServiceNow CMDB) and CI/CD practices for Network Changes, including Git and pipelines for configuration validation and deployment.
