About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Networking Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of enterprise networks and systems operations. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and supporting multiple large-scale network infrastructures with varying security postures. The engineer will collaborate with senior team members to ensure optimal network performance and security, and must be prepared to perform after-hours work and respond promptly to network or systems emergencies with minimal supervision. Expert-level troubleshooting skills are essential in a high-availability, 24/7 enterprise environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of enterprise networks and systems operations.
  • Routing Protocols: OSPF, BGP, Multicast (PIM, DVMRP)
  • Network Design: VLAN design and migration
  • Security: Policy-enabled networking, Access Control Lists, Endpoint Integrity, Firewalls
  • Authentication & Access Control: Network Access Control, IDS/IPS, EAP/PEAP, RADIUS, Certificate Authorities
  • Protocols & Services: SNMPv3, SSH, SSL, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IAS
  • High Availability & Redundancy: VOIP, VRRP, Disaster Recovery
  • Hardware & Standards: Multi-vendor network hardware, troubleshooting up to 100 GB standards
  • Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds
  • Must be able to walk long distances as part of infrastructure support duties
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance team
  • Demonstrated use of best practices and adherence to security policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and support multiple large-scale network infrastructures with varying security postures.
