About The Position

This is a contract position for a Network Technician located at Eielson Air Force Base, AK. The role is for an onsite, entry-level position with a duration of approximately 6-7 months. The technician will assist with technical, administrative, and operational tasks for assigned projects, prepare basic project documentation and reports, and perform entry-level technical tasks following established standards. Responsibilities also include updating network documentation, contributing to deliverables, and following quality assurance processes. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with technical, administrative, and operational tasks for assigned projects.
Help prepare basic project documentation, reports, and updates under guidance from more experienced team members.
Perform entry‑level technical tasks and follow established standards for quality and accuracy.
Assist with planning activities by gathering data and providing initial workload estimates.
Update network documentation and as‑built records based on splicing and testing results.
Contribute to the development of deliverables by preparing drafts or collecting required information.
Follow quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy in project outputs.
Ability to work effectively in a teaming environment.
Strong commitment to a team environment and the ability to work collaboratively.
