About The Position

The Network Talent Acquisition Liaison is responsible for completing various steps in the post-offer employment process and making sure the conditions of employment have been fulfilled. The Network Talent Acquisition Liaison ensures a positive experience by making navigation of the on-boarding process, easy and understandable for the candidate.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must possess excellent computer and organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ administrative/clerical experience, preferred.
  • Prior human resources experience with emphasis in talent acquisition support strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists new candidates in completing all pre-boarding documents, post offer job requirements, and navigating the on-boarding process, all in a friendly and professional manner so candidates begin employment timely and with a positive experience.
  • Ensures all pre-boarding documents are completed thoroughly and within SLUHN timeframes and that all conditions of employment have been successfully met (references, pre-employment physical, background screen, verifications of licensure/certification/registration etc).
  • Uploads appropriate employment documentation into Workday
  • Follows-up with candidates on missing information or additional steps needing to be completed during pre-employment
  • Reviews the Employee Portion of the Employment Eligibility Verification Form (Form I-9) for completeness, and completes the Employer Portion of Form I-9 within the required timeframe.
  • Assists with set-up and check-in at new hire orientation, creates name badges for new hire orientation.
  • Assists recruiters in scheduling and/or screening applications, when needed.
  • Works with candidates on scheduling pre-employment physical and initiates the candidate pre-employment process in Workday.
  • Clears candidate to commence employment, based on successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.
  • Notifies Talent Acquisition Specialist immediately if there are any issues with the pre-employment or onboarding processes.
  • Works in cooperation with Compliance and Occupational Medicine teams for new hire clearances.
  • Assist with coordinating events for various career days, job fairs, open houses, and other recruitment activities.
  • Demonstrates competence in the areas of critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills.
