About The Position

The Network & Systems Engineer assists with the design, implementation, and management of network and systems infrastructure to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the organization's IT environment. The role requires a strong technical background in networking and systems administration and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position is on-site at the main campus in Waianae.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing and supporting networks and servers.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and routing.
• Experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation tasks.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Ability to work with low-voltage copper, fiber, and coax cabling and distinguish between the types.
• Valid driver's license and daily access to an automobile.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Cisco CLI.
• Experience with SD-WAN.
