About The Position
Our client is in need of a well-rounded Systems + Network Administrator who is comfortable supporting virtual (VMware), network (Cisco), firewall (WatchGuard), and e-mail (M365) environments. An ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of network/systems administration experience and must be local to the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. VMware is version 7, Cisco 9000 series routers (with some Nexus), and they would be open to candidates with firewall experience outside of WatchGuard. Day to day responsibilities would include basic network/systems administration, routing, switching, rule creation, etc.
Requirements
- 3+ years of network/systems administration experience
- Local to the greater Grand Rapids, MI area
- VMware version 7 experience
- Cisco 9000 series routers experience
- Nexus experience
- WatchGuard firewall experience (or other firewall experience)
- Bachelor's Degree in IT related field + 3 yrs work experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
