About The Position

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a Network System Administrator supporting Fort Novosel, AL. This is a 100% onsite position.

Requirements

• Secret clearance
• IAT Level II Certification (One of the following: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
• At least 4 years of experience in networking/network management or equivalent field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos) or equivalent
• 350-801-CLCOR, Cisco Certified Specialist-Collaboration Core, 300-815 CLACCM, Cisco Certified Specialist, Collaboration Call Control & Mobility Implementation or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily administration of a network/server environment.
• Installs, configures, and maintains system software.
• Monitors network performance, troubleshoots issues, and deploys solutions.
• Plans and implements upgrades, patches, and installation of new applications and equipment.
• Creates and maintains a disaster recovery, security, and back-up and restore plan.
• May assist with evaluating new technologies to optimize network efficiency and performance.
