About The Position

This role involves monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting a wide range of enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, firewalls, and telecommunications. The administrator will be responsible for configuring and supporting various networking and security platforms, responding to and resolving network incidents, and managing ISP circuits and related services. The position also includes performing hardware installations, firmware upgrades, and maintaining network documentation. Additionally, the role provides tier-2 and tier-3 support for escalated network issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
  • Experience supporting Cisco Catalyst switching, Cisco DNA Center, Meraki, Palo Alto, Prisma, routing, wireless, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and WAN connectivity.
  • Experience troubleshooting BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, carrier circuits, and network security technologies.
  • Experience with SolarWinds and network monitoring platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience supporting large multi-site enterprise networks.
  • Experience with network security technologies, firewalls, NAC, Prisma, and segmentation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, support, and troubleshoot enterprise routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, firewall, and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Configure and support Cisco Catalyst, Cisco DNA Center, Meraki, Silver Peak (EdgeConnect), Cradlepoint, Palo Alto, and Prisma networking and security platforms.
  • Respond to and resolve network incidents including node outages, interface failures, BGP routing issues, WAN connectivity problems, packet loss, latency concerns, and security-related network events.
  • Support BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, ACLs, QoS, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network segmentation technologies.
  • Utilize SolarWinds and network analysis tools to monitor performance, identify issues, and maintain operational stability.
  • Manage ISP circuits, MPLS, broadband, LTE, SD-WAN, and carrier services.
  • Perform network hardware installations, firmware upgrades, lifecycle replacements, and configuration changes.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Provide tier-2 and tier-3 support for escalated network incidents and service requests.
