About The Position

As a senior network storage engineer on our team, you’ll be integral to architecting, deploying, and operating complex network environments across various DoW clients in the Indo-Pacific. You’ll create and employ new storage architectures to meet client requirements adhering to Zero Trust best practices in hybrid environments that demand high resiliency for data access. You’ll interface with key stakeholders and users, including internal delivery and engineering teams as well as cybersecurity professionals, to assure resilient data-centric delivery. You’ll assist with designing and implementing custom policy to ensure positive control of data across hybrid cloud environments. You’ll also mentor the next set of storage engineers to help them grow into tomorrow’s data architects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring network storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and object storage
  • Experience with provisioning storage and performance tuning for operational demand
  • Experience with back-up and recovery planning and implementation, including configurations and policy
  • Experience with a major vendor, including Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience in virtual environment management such as VMWare solutions
  • Experience with hybrid networks and virtualization technologies
  • Experience documenting and diagraming technical architectures
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in federal, DoW, or IC agency environments
  • Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, and frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering field
  • Storage Management and Administration Certification such as Dell, HPE, NetApp, AWS, or Azure
  • Certification
