About The Position

Documenting, maintaining, and validating the solution intent. Ensuring traceability between mission capabilities, technical enablers, and MCEN compliance requirements. Collaborating with cross-portfolio integration. Providing broad technical oversight for solution architectures. Ensuring seamless integration and interoperability of IT capabilities across disparate Marine Corps Cyberspace Environment portfolios in support of MCEN. Identifying, designing, and guiding the implementation of technical enablers (infrastructure, security, and platforms) required to support future mission capabilities. Collaborating with product management, release train engineers (RTEs), enterprise architects, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with MCEN strategic goals. Assisting in developing and updating PI and multi-PI roadmaps. Ensuring backlog items meet the necessary definition and quality to be ready for review during PI planning and solution train ceremonies. Providing day-to-day coordination, data preparation, and architecture support. Helping translate architectural intent into backlog structures. Supporting dependency mapping, capability decomposition, and runway visibility. FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING.

Requirements

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) expertise, with deep knowledge of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), and the ability to design high-cadence, secure "System-of-Systems" architecture
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT systems architecture, engineering, and integration, with significant time spent directly supporting USMC, Naval, or DoD/ DoW enterprise environments
  • Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) IAT Level III or higher compliance
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP
  • U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY

Nice To Haves

  • Thorough knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles, the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and DoD security policies
  • Understanding of MAGTF warfighting functions (Fires, Intel, Logistics) and how they leverage the network for Command and Control (C2)
  • Drafting clear System Design Specifications, Technical Standards Profiles, and engineering tasks derived directly from operational mission needs
  • SAFe® certification
