About The Position

Our client is conducting a large-scale network readiness assessment across hospitals, clinics, and administrative facilities throughout Washington, Oregon, and Western Montana. The objective is to evaluate each location's readiness for the deployment of a Out-of-Band (OOB) connectivity solution designed to enhance network resiliency and business continuity. The Network Site Audit Technician will travel to customer sites, perform infrastructure and network assessments, collect technical data, document findings, and provide detailed reports to the project team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career networking professional looking to gain hands-on experience with enterprise networking, telecommunications, and network resiliency initiatives within healthcare environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an IT Data Center, MDF, or IDF environment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting or working with network access layer hardware (switches) and servers
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable traveling extensively throughout Washington, Oregon, and Western Montana
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Professional communication and customer-facing skills

Nice To Haves

  • Network engineering experience
  • CCNA certification (or actively pursuing certification)
  • Experience with Out-of-Band (OOB) network solutions
  • Familiarity with WAN, ISP circuits, and telecommunications infrastructure
  • Experience performing site surveys, technical audits, or infrastructure assessments

Responsibilities

  • Travel to assigned healthcare facilities throughout the region
  • Conduct onsite network and infrastructure assessments following established project guidelines
  • Collect and document critical site information, including: Network equipment inventory, ISP and WAN connectivity details, MDF/IDF locations, layouts, and conditions, Available rack space, power, and cabling infrastructure, Cellular signal strength and connectivity options, Exterior site conditions relevant to Starlink installation, Potential antenna or satellite mounting locations
  • Capture photographs of network rooms, equipment, cabling, and installation areas
  • Assess and document site readiness for Starlink and Out-of-Band (OOB) solution deployment
  • Complete standardized audit reports, checklists, and supporting documentation
  • Identify and escalate site risks, deficiencies, or deployment challenges
  • Maintain accurate records and submit deliverables within project timelines
  • Represent the client professionally while interacting with facility personnel and technical staff
