About The Position

Mano Lani is looking for a Network Senior Lead to provide senior technical leadership and oversight for all PKI Network Operations, including Certificate Authority infrastructure, Certificate Validation Infrastructure, Hardware Security Modules, virtual infrastructure, storage area networks, and server management across multiple classified and unclassified USMC networks. This position ensures high availability of all PKI enterprise services and serves as the principal technical advisor to Government leadership on PKI network engineering matters.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
  • CISSP or equivalent senior-level certification required (CISM, CCISO, or GSLC)
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II baseline certification
  • Substantial hands-on experience with DoD/NSS and Only-Locally-Trusted PKI operations and maintenance
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, ADCS, Keyfactor EJBCA, ISC CertAgent, and/or Red Hat CA software
  • Experience with VMware virtualization, NetApp SAN, and Windows/Unix server management in a DoD environment
  • Experience with SafeNet/Thales or nCipher HSM management

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a PKI senior lead or architect role within a DoD program
  • Familiarity with Axway Validation Authority Suite including OCSP, Desktop Validator, and Enterprise Validation Authority
  • Experience supporting USMC or Marine Corps Cyber Operations Group PKI programs

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to all Network Operations contractor staff; serve as the Government's single point of contact for PKI Network Operations system management tasks
  • Lead development, planning, deployment, and configuration of Certificate Authority infrastructure, CVI, HSM, virtual infrastructure, SAN, and server management environments per DoD security standards
  • Oversee ongoing infrastructure health monitoring of CA and CVI systems; ensure discrepancies are reported to Government leadership and remediated within required response windows
  • Ensure Certificate Revocation Lists are published on schedule from Issuing and Root CAs; validate CRL currency and accessibility by CVI servers
  • Direct vulnerability patching of servers within required timeframes; oversee POA&M development for technically unmitigable vulnerabilities in coordination with the Cybersecurity Lead
  • Lead PKI tactical training development and delivery to deploying Marine units; coordinate with MEFs, MEUs, and Reserve Commands
  • Oversee Configuration Management of all PKI middleware, desktop validators, server validators, and enterprise hardware baselines
  • Lead disaster recovery and COOP plan development, testing, and maintenance for all assigned infrastructure components
  • Provide expert-level Tier III troubleshooting aligned with ITIL v4 for PKI-related incidents across all USMC networks
  • Represent the PKI program as a subject matter expert at working group meetings, program reviews, and DoD PKI Summits; travel as required CONUS and OCONUS
  • Leverage PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate manual processes; oversee development and maintenance of custom monitoring and management scripts
