Requirements

7+ years of experience with Enterprise DOD boundary protection and Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) operations.
IAT-II-level qualifications such as CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
Experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies.
Proficiency in responsive troubleshooting.
Effective communication within a collaborative team setting.

Nice To Haves

Palo Alto Networks certifications like PCNSE (Legacy), Next-Generation Firewall Engineer, or PCCSA.
Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) (Certification retired but still valid if not expired)
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Professional

Responsibilities

Installing, monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, hardening, maintaining, and operating intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, load balancers, and web proxies.
Ensuring the protection of AFNet resources from both internal and external threats, strictly adhering to DoD security standards.
Performing complex analytics on boundary protection systems to safeguard system assets from compromise and data loss while fulfilling various operational requirements.
Engaging in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) and Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) operations.
