About The Position

A major financial services enterprise needs someone who can walk in, take real ownership of their Fortinet infrastructure, and run it like it's theirs. This is not a support seat or a ticket queue, but actual ownership across a global, multi-site environment where the stakes, and the trust placed in you, are real. The role involves the day-to-day management of enterprise Fortinet infrastructure in a high-security financial environment, building methods of procedure for clean and audit-ready migrations, upgrades, and releases, testing new features and releases before production, evaluating third-party device compatibility with Fortinet, and training client staff.

Requirements

7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, or administration
5+ years with network security products
2+ years hands-on with Fortinet specifically
Real FortiGate firewall expertise
Fortinet SD-WAN design experience across a global, multi-site architecture
Comfort operating in a regulated, high-stakes financial environment
Authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship
ADVPN experience

Nice To Haves

2 to 3 Fortinet certifications, EPSP-track is ideal
Prior professional services or consulting engineer background
Strong grounding in switching, routing, load balancing, WiFi, IPS, VPN, antivirus/antispam, web filtering, and application control

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day of enterprise Fortinet infrastructure in a high-security financial environment.
Build methods of procedure for clean and audit-ready migrations, upgrades, and releases.
Test new features and releases before they touch production.
Evaluate how third-party devices work with Fortinet.
Train client staff.
Identify and address critical issues before they become widespread problems.
