About The Position
Our client is searching for a REMOTE Network Security Engineer for a contract role that may lead to full-time employment. Candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis. Our client has a large project that will require a Security Engineer to help on a dual demarcation point at a nearby campus. The initial contract will be for 6-8 months, but may go longer and convert to full-time. All candidates must submit to a drug and background check.
Requirements
- Firewall Expertise
- Specialist/Expert - Checkpoint/Palo Alto/Juniper SRX
- Documentation Expert - Ability to utilize Visio or similar platform to document network specifics
- Ability to write cyber security policies/documentation associated with our Network in response to cyber security audits
Responsibilities
- Help on a dual demarcation point at a nearby campus.
- VPN Migration from one concentrator to another
- Unify Checkpoint policies
- Network Standardization
- Firewall Consolidation
- Network Segmentation
- Network Access Control
- Documentation Expert - Ability to utilize Visio or similar platform to document network specifics
- Ability to write cyber security policies/documentation associated with our Network in response to cyber security audits
