About The Position
This role is for a Network Security Analyst 2 with a specialization in RSA Archer. The position is located in Austin, TX, and is an onsite, long-term opportunity. The client is a State/Government entity, and candidates must have relevant experience. The role involves designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting RSA Archer GRC solutions, developing and maintaining various Archer applications, configuring workflows, security models, and integrations, and collaborating with various internal teams.
Requirements
- Archer Certified Professional (ACP) OR Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator – Expert Certification Required
- Minimum 5 years of certified RSA Archer experience supporting enterprise GRC implementations
- Experience designing and configuring Archer applications, workflows, questionnaires, and reporting solutions
- Experience implementing Archer Assessment & Authorization and Controls Assurance modules
- Strong knowledge of RSA Archer architecture, data models, and platform administration
- Experience with REST API development and enterprise integrations
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and jQuery customization
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business processes into technical solutions
- Experience working in structured enterprise environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 10+ years supporting enterprise or government GRC implementations
- Experience in public sector, healthcare, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Experience integrating Archer with: ServiceNow, CMDB platforms, ITSM solutions, Enterprise risk management systems
- Experience supporting Information Security, Compliance, Audit, Governance, or Risk Management programs
- RSA Archer: Archer Platform Architecture, Application Configuration, Workflow Design, Data Modeling, Assessment & Authorization, Controls Assurance, Issues Management, Access Control Administration, Reporting & Dashboards
- Integration Technologies: REST APIs, Web Services, JSON/XML Data Exchange, Enterprise Application Integration
- Development Technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, Client-Side Validation, Dynamic UI Configuration
- Security & Compliance: Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Information Security Controls, Risk Assessments, Regulatory Compliance, Continuous Monitoring, Security Governance Frameworks

Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, and support RSA Archer GRC solutions
- Develop and maintain Archer applications for: Assessment & Authorization (A&A), Controls Assurance, Program Management, Issues Management, Custom Archer Applications, Enterprise System Integrations
- Configure Archer questionnaires, workflows, approvals, notifications, and data relationships
- Manage role-based security models and access controls
- Configure automated data imports and workflow automation
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- Translate business needs into technical solution designs and deployment plans
- Collaborate with Information Security, Compliance, Audit, and Risk teams
- Design and implement integrations between RSA Archer and external systems
- Develop and support REST API and web service integrations
- Integrate Archer with ServiceNow, CMDB, ITSM, and enterprise governance platforms
- Develop custom Archer functionality using JavaScript and jQuery
- Create and maintain technical and project documentation
- Support governance, release management, and change management procedures
- Troubleshoot platform issues and performance bottlenecks
- Support upgrades, deployments, and production support activities
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions
