About The Position

DSST Public Schools is seeking a Network School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year, focusing on middle and high school levels. This role is based in Denver, CO, with travel to a subset of schools. The position is full-time and benefits-eligible. DSST has developed a collaborative Network Evaluation Team model that pairs School Psychologists with SpEd Teachers to enhance assessment quality and evaluation reports across the network. As a Network School Psychologist, Evaluation Specialist, you will receive weekly coaching and development from a dedicated Lead Network Evaluation Specialist and be part of a team supporting comprehensive, root-cause-driven evaluations for students across Denver and Aurora.

Requirements

2+ years serving as a School Psychologist (elementary, middle school, or high school level)
Experience administering standardized assessments, conducting root-cause analysis, and writing holistic, comprehensive evaluation reports
An unwavering belief that all students can succeed in high school, reach their most ambitious post-secondary goals, and lead exemplary lives
Desire to personally and professionally grow in their practice of becoming an anti-racist and anti-ableist educator
Proven commitment to and experience with serving students of color, students with disabilities, and/or multilingual students
Self-awareness, a regular practice of reflection, and a desire to continuously improve their practice, communication, and leadership skills
Ed.S. (60+ graduate semester hours) or doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited university, consistent with Colorado's SSP licensure requirements
Completion of a supervised practicum and a 1,200-hour internship in a school setting (minimum 600 hours in-school), as required for Colorado SSP licensure
Actively pursuing or willing to begin the Colorado Special Service Provider (SSP) application process, with the endorsement fully completed prior to their start date.
Candidates holding NASP's Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential may find this process faster, as Colorado accepts it toward several SSP requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-school assessments and participate in eligibility meetings (on average) 4–5 days per week.
Be assigned to schools and individual cases throughout the DSST network to ensure all students with disabilities have strong, comprehensive evaluations and assessments matched to appropriate in-school and community support.
Work on several special education evaluations simultaneously while supporting multiple schools throughout the course of a week.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with members of the school Special Education Team including special service providers.
Communicate with General Education Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and Special Service Providers about information needed and timelines for assessments and special education evaluations.
Communicate regularly with families, outside providers, and comprehensive IEP teams in a collaborative and student focused manner.
Communicate regularly with the Home Office Exceptional Learner and Home Office Mental Health Team as needed.
Receive weekly coaching and development from the Lead Network Evaluation Specialist.
