About The Position

This is a W2 position. The role requires at least five (5) years of professional-level experience in one or more technical disciplines, including Penetration Testing, Networking, Firewalls, Server Administration, Encryption, Cloud, Containers, Databases, or Software Development. The candidate must possess hands-on, expert-level technical proficiency in at least one critical skill area, supported by relevant certifications. Additionally, they should demonstrate an advanced understanding of adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and be proficient with multiple open-source and commercial security tools. Strong proficiency working with both UNIX-based and Microsoft operating systems is required, with deep systems engineering experience in at least one of them.

Requirements

  • Hands-on, expert-level technical proficiency in at least one critical skill area.
  • Advanced understanding of adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Proficiency with multiple open-source and commercial security tools (e.g., Nessus, Burp Suite, AppDetective, Metasploit, NMAP).
  • Strong proficiency working with both UNIX-based and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Deep systems engineering experience in at least one of the operating systems (UNIX-based or Microsoft).

Nice To Haves

  • Hold (or be working toward) multiple professional or associate-level certifications, such as CISSP, GCIH, MCSE, CCNP, RHCE, GPEN, GWAPT, OSCP, MPCE, or CEH.

Responsibilities

  • Perform penetration testing.
  • Utilize expertise in networking, firewalls, server administration, encryption, cloud, containers, databases, or software development.
  • Apply advanced understanding of adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Utilize multiple open-source and commercial security tools (e.g., Nessus, Burp Suite, AppDetective, Metasploit, NMAP).
  • Work with both UNIX-based and Microsoft operating systems, with deep systems engineering experience in at least one of them.
