About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Manager to lead enterprise‑level network operations, engineering support, and systems integration across a global technical environment. This role oversees teams responsible for network engineering, hardware and software integration, system‑level design, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership and hands-on expertise in modern network architectures, legacy system interoperability, and large-scale infrastructure planning. Your future duties and responsibilities: Lead network operations and engineering teams in the design, integration, testing, and support of network hardware, software, and systems. Perform system‑level design and configuration to ensure compatibility, scalability, and interoperability with existing platforms and legacy systems. Analyze network requirements and determine appropriate solutions for hardware, software, operating systems, and platform specifications. Support the planning and execution of large‑scale network system projects, including vendor evaluations, cost/benefit analyses, and technology trade studies. Troubleshoot network systems and subsystems across global environments, identifying and resolving issues related to LAN, MPLS, WAN, and service availability. Provide guidance and leadership to network operations and engineering staff, fostering best practices and consistent support across dispersed locations. Recommend enhancements, improvements, and modernization strategies to strengthen network reliability, performance, and security.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience supporting global network systems and subsystems, including troubleshooting LAN, MPLS, WAN, and network availability issues.
  • At least five years of experience leading network operations or engineering teams in complex, enterprise‑scale environments.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret‑level security clearance (or currently holding one).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with risk management and recommending strategies to reduce operational costs or improve network performance.
  • Experience supporting networks that interface with or operate within cloud environments.
  • At least three years of hands‑on experience with firewall administration, troubleshooting, and rule‑set management, including platforms such as Palo Alto or other enterprise firewall solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in large‑scale, complex network environments.
  • Excellent leadership abilities and experience managing cross‑functional technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to balance operational demands with long-term modernization initiatives.
