Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years or prior relevant experience
  • Must have active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience in a technical operations environment
  • Experience with Windows
  • On start date- Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+, CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND

Responsibilities

  • Supporting a Raytheon program in a classified environment as a Network Operations Center (NOC) System Administrator.
  • Monitoring the Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) hosting equipment and services consisting of computers (server), networks, storage, and backup & archive, all in a fast-paced environment.
  • Answering and managing calls in a 24x7 monitoring center, providing prompt and professional responses to incidents and inquiries.
  • Monitoring system dashboards for the status of services.
  • Creating Incidents in the Incident Management system.
  • Assigning Incidents to the appropriate Tier-2/Tier-3 assignment groups.
  • Assisting with troubleshooting services to restore full Mission Capability.
  • Coordinating with other service Providers when incidents span system boundaries.
  • Investigating and rectifying procedural discrepancies.
  • Identifying areas of process improvement.
