About The Position

Arcarithm is seeking a Network Monitoring Analyst (NMA) T4 to join a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO). This role involves daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of C2BMC network systems within a 24x7 operations and test environment. The analyst will provide first-level technical support to the warfighter, perform initial troubleshooting of local C2BMC network hardware and software, and document/report all events and issues to the CWO. The position also includes receiving tasking from the CCC for operations and events, assisting with network hardware/software installations, and creating/maintaining user accounts. The role requires rotating 24x7 shift work, including 12-hour shifts, with potential for substitute rotations during off-shifts, nights, and weekends.

Requirements

  • Minimum Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ , GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP).
  • Sound knowledge of Network concepts: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network management and monitoring
  • Sound knowledge of management and monitoring tools and techniques for various network infrastructure components and services
  • Knowledge of monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools - Virtualization technologies such a VMWare vCenter and vSphere
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience with remote access software such as SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP
  • Sound knowledge with OSPF, Cisco IOS and JUNOS commands and troubleshooting
  • Experience in Windows Server maintenance
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • TS/SCI Preferred
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the usage of network management tools
  • Familiarity with encryption devices, specifically TACLANEs
  • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix Server maintenance
  • Experience in liaising with other DoD Agencies and associated network operations organizations

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC network systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment.
  • Provide first level technical support to the warfighter.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC network hardware and software.
  • Document and report all events/issues to the CWO.
  • Receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real-world events.
  • Assist in all network hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs.
  • Create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
  • Maintain DoD 8140 certification for the full contract period.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.
