About The Position

The Network Intrusion Specialist will support a Government customer with multiple satellite systems, both on-orbit and in development. They will also support communication systems, network, and crypto acquisition activities for multiple major satellite programs. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly is required to be considered for this role. Requirements

Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
Understanding and experience within how space communication, network, and crypto systems are designed, specified, developed, manufactured, and tested.
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and information security policies and standards.
Experience with government satellite systems.
U.S. Citizenship
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
Active Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph

Responsibilities

Support the System Program Office (SPO) in an acquisition capacity for planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of communication, network, and crypto acquisitions.
Analyze PCAP data and IDS/IPS alerts.
Trace network-based attacks.
Support containment of live network intrusions.
Increase monitoring and auditing of black transport.
Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, briefs Government and industry as required.
Support Contract Officer Technical Representatives (COTRs) and Developers by coordinating with other acquisition domain SMEs and program stakeholders to develop, modify, and maintain contract documentation.
Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables to ensure content, accuracy, and sufficiency to meet program requirements and objectives.
Participate in program reviews and technical interchange meetings between developers and COTR.
