About The Position

Wynd Labs is an early-stage startup on a mission to make public web data accessible for AI through contributions to Grass. Grass is a network sharing application that allows users to share their unused bandwidth, effectively acting as a residential proxy network that rewards individual residential IPs for the bandwidth they provide. Grass will route traffic equitably among its network and meter the amount of data that each node provides to fairly distribute rewards. In non-technical terms, Grass unlocks everyone's ability to earn rewards by simply sharing their unused internet bandwidth on personal devices (laptops, smartphones). This project is for those who lead with initiative and seek to challenge themselves and thrive on curiosity. Requirements

Proven experience designing networks and maintaining physical infrastructure.
Deep understanding of routers/switches and establishing connectivity between servers.
Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking, security, and automation.
Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and automation.

Responsibilities

Oversee design, configuration, and deployment of networks, servers, network switches, systems, firewalls, and applications.
Oversee configuration of servers with virtualization and troubleshooting of application issues.
Ensure infrastructure solutions meet business needs, including scalability and security.
Ensure regular maintenance of servers, networks, and other infrastructure components to ensure uptime and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure components.
Ensure correct configuration of network components, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
Monitor system performance and implement solutions to enhance reliability, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the development lifecycle.
Ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.
