About The Position
As a Field Technician I, you will install and maintain telecommunications systems and provide quality service to clients. This home-based, dispatched role supports assignments within a specified geographic area and involves local travel. It is a long-term contract opportunity intended to convert to permanent employment in a relatively short period of time. Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in telecommunications or a related electrical field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of technical aptitude.
- Experience working with Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.
- US citizenship, a Green Card, or authorization to work in the US.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain voice, data, security, and VoIP communication systems and equipment.
- Complete assigned work orders with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Use a laptop and software applications to manage work orders and documentation.
