Duties include managing local and wide area networks, overseeing projects, installing new devices, and performing ongoing infrastructure maintenance. Experience with Wireless, Riverbeds, and Call Manager Express is also required. The position demands advanced engineering and administration skills for routers, switches, network security devices, and network management systems. Responsibilities include providing technical support to resolve network outages and submitting timely project updates. Familiarity with various networks such as SIPR, NIPR, CENTRIXS, BICES, CPOF, CENTCOM Partner Networks, and Wireless LAN is essential. Expertise in switching protocols (CST, MISTP, PVST, RPVST+, VTP, DTP, GVRP, MAB, VLAN, and private VLAN), DMVPN technologies, and IP services (WCCP, AAA, QOS, IP SLA, EEM, Syslog, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, and NTP) is required. The role may involve CONUS/OCONUS travel of 25% or more.
