You will be paired with an experienced IT mentor who will guide your learning and help you explore innovative technology services. What You Can Expect A highly inclusive, supportive, structured, and rewarding internship experience New Intern Orientation with computer, application, and system training Meaningful assignments that enhance customer service, strengthen IT stability, and support compliance Dedicated mentorship and structured feedback Scheduled sessions with senior executive leaders across The Hartford Functional Team The Network Engineering Team manages the enterprise wide area network for The Hartford, which includes platforms: Juniper Switching Aruba SDWAN Zscaler ZIA Infoblox DNS We are seeking interns who are eager to learn, motivated to build technical and customer facing skills, and ready to help innovate new ways of working. As a Network Engineering Intern, you will support network troubleshooting, day-to-day operation and project planning.

  • Reliable transportation required for onsite work
  • Must meet State of Connecticut employment eligibility requirements and successfully complete a background check

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting
  • Help update network diagrams and documentation
  • Learn to configure and monitor network equipment
  • Support network upgrade and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Follow all IT policies and security best practices
