The team is involved in working closely with Application development, Infrastructure, Database and middleware teams to deliver high performing applications. We use wide variety of tools in monitoring and logging space to better serve the application areas, such as Dynatrace, LoadRunner, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, etc. We are looking for an Intern who is up to the challenge of learning processes and leveraging tools mentioned above to help innovate new ways of working. The ideal candidates have a strong desire to build organizational skills, strong problem solving capabilities, intent to showcase effective root cause analysis and most importantly, willingness to reach the solution. As a Performance Engineering and Observability Intern, you will work directly with a high performing team enabling various service tower teams within CTO

  • Reliable transportation required for onsite work
  • Must satisfy employment eligibility requirements as established by The State of NC and pass required back-ground checks

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring application performance trends (cloud & on-Prem) and identifying opportunities to improve performance and/or availability
  • Assist in facilitating team meetings and capturing action items
  • Focus on Agile software development and DevOps and, demonstrate outstanding communication, flexibility, teamwork and leadership
  • Assist in Performance Testing of critical applications in their cloud migration journey
  • Take ownership in learning about Generative AI and building AI agents to optimize and evolve the Performance Engineering space
