Network Engineering Director
About The Position
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Director of Network Engineering to lead the OCL Global Networking Platform Engineering team. This team is responsible for the design, build, lifecycle management, and operational readiness of the physical network platform that supports Oracle’s global backbone and Internet connectivity. This role owns the engineering strategy and execution for network hardware platforms, circuit capacity, carrier interconnects, and the physical connectivity foundations required to scale Oracle’s global cloud network. The Director will lead a team of engineers responsible for translating business growth, regional expansion, capacity demand, reliability requirements, and technology evolution into deployable, supportable network platform solutions. The ideal candidate has deep experience building and operating large-scale global networks, strong technical judgment across network hardware and carrier infrastructure, and a proven record of leading engineering teams in cloud, service provider, or large enterprise environments. This leader must operate effectively across architecture, capacity planning, deployment, operations, procurement, vendors, and executive stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-effective network infrastructure.
