Network Engineer
About The Position
The client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize their enterprise network infrastructure. In this role, the ideal candidate will assist with the daily operations of their core Cisco Networks involving BGP and EIGRP protocols, maintain Palo Alto Firewalls, and ensure accurate network time synchronization using NTP/SNTP. Over the next few years, they'll play a key hands-on role in supporting their engineering team during a multi-year transition to HPE Aruba SD-WAN. They'll also ensure day-to-day network visibility by actively utilizing enterprise monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Datadog.
Requirements
- 5-7+ Years of experience in Network Engineering.
- Experience with Cisco Networks.
- Experience with Routing Protocols - BGP/EIGRP.
- Experience with Network Monitoring - SNTP/NTP.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and/or Datadog.
- Experience maintaining Palo Alto Firewalls.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with HPE Aruba SD-WAN.
Responsibilities
