About The Position

Located at Movie World on the Gold Coast, the Network Engineer is responsible for designing, supporting and maintaining a highly available and resilient network environment that enables 24/7 operations across our Theme Parks and broader business. This role works closely with internal teams and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable network and voice services, ensuring seamless connectivity during peak trading periods.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto SD-WAN and Next Generation Firewalls
  • Proven expertise in Aruba wireless and switching technologies, including Aruba ClearPass
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Experience with cloud networking and firewalls in Azure and AWS
  • CCNA certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong troubleshooting capability across complex network environments
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based operating environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cisco
  • Network design experience or CCDA certification
  • Exposure to BGP and advanced networking concepts

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a highly available and resilient network environment supporting business-critical services
  • Providing operational support for network and voice services as part of a broader Infrastructure team
  • Ensuring network availability across a 24/7 operating environment, including peak trading periods
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues to maintain service stability
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver secure, high-quality network solutions
  • Developing and maintaining accurate network documentation and standards
  • Supporting service continuity by responding to business-critical incidents, including on call roster when required
