About The Position

Exante360, Inc., is looking for a Network Engineer that wants to join us on our bold initiative of “improving lives through relationships, by connecting people to solutions.” The Network Engineer is a hands-on, operational role responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a newly deployed Operational Technologies (OT) network within a healthcare setting. This role requires full-time onsite presence and plays a critical role in maintaining network stability and responding to connectivity issues affecting operational systems.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems (copper and fiber), standards and best practices.
  • Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated hands-on technical competence.

  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • The ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-maintained technical documentation.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues across OSI Layers 1-3.
  • Broad working knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including wireless, VoIP, VPN, and firewalls.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on network operations experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in healthcare environments, with and understanding of uptime, security, and compliance requirements supporting clinical and operations systems preferred.
  • Background supporting construction or large-scale infrastructure projects, including network design validation, deployment coordination, and commissioning activities desired.
  • CCIE certification strongly preferred, reflecting deep expertise in Cisco routing and switching and complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for the OT network infrastructure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for network-related connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across routing and switching environments up to the firewall boundary.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco-based routing and switching infrastructure.
  • Support VLAN configurations, trunking, spanning tree, and Layer 2/Layer 3 connectivity.
  • Diagnose and resolve packet loss, latency, interface errors, and misconfigurations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of 802.11 wireless and VoIP systems for troubleshooting purposes and escalate as required.
  • Troubleshoot patch panels, cabling faults, and terminations.
  • Coordinate with low-voltage contractors as required.
  • Provide hands-on support in IDF/MDF environments for network equipment deployment.
  • Validate physical connectivity and support MAC work.
  • Supports equipment deployments by racking, stacking, and physically installing hardware.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
  • Conduct onsite network verification and coordination.
  • Support planned maintenance and deployment activities.
