AT&T is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer to join our Connectivity Operations Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping our customers’ network infrastructure secure, reliable, and efficient—supporting both day-to-day operations and exciting new projects. Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Standard Operating Procedures: Consistently follow established procedures for the Connectivity Operations Team, utilizing ticketing systems for issue tracking and detailed documentation for all network activities. Project Support: Provide hands-on support for network upgrade projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption to operations. Hardware Replacement: Respond promptly to hardware failures by replacing networking components such as switches, routers, and access points as needed. End-User Support: Assist with troubleshooting and resolving end-user connectivity issues, delivering responsive and professional service. Network Infrastructure Support: Participate in the installation, maintenance, operation, and security of LAN infrastructure and network devices to support organizational needs. Access Management: Manage access to network segments and resources in accordance with established network access policies and security protocols. System Updates: Regularly update and refresh network hardware, operating systems, and software to ensure optimal functionality, performance, and security. Change Management: Strictly adhere to change and configuration management processes to maintain network integrity and compliance.
