About The Position

Responsibilities

Plan and execute network designs, expansions, and enhancements to support business needs
Configure, install, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
Implement and manage network segmentation, VLANs, and IP address allocation
Proactively monitor network performance, uptime, and security using network monitoring tools
Ensure maximum network reliability and availability by identifying and resolving issues promptly
Conduct regular performance tuning, adjustments, and maintenance to ensure the optimal operation of the network
Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security appliances
Collaborate with IT Security teams to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
Perform regular security risk assessments and system penetration testing
Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents and escalate complex issues as needed
Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring technical incidents
Document solutions, create standard operating procedures, and maintain network topology diagrams
Partner with cross-functional IT teams to identify and deploy cybersecurity and networking solutions
Support project teams with network infrastructure planning for new applications and services
Collaborate with vendors and service providers
