About The Position

The SC Department of Revenue is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in SolarWinds, SIEM platforms, network administration, automation scripting, and enterprise infrastructure support. The consultant will support a highly secure Windows Server 2019–2025 environment, ensuring stability, performance, security, and availability of network and server infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ Years of SolarWinds Administration experience (WPM, SAM, UDT, WHD)
• 10+ Years of SIEM Platform experience
• 10+ Years of Automation Scripting experience
• 10+ Years of PCI / NIST / Pub1075 Security Implementations and Audits
• Strong Network Administration and Infrastructure Support experience
• Experience with Monitoring Tools, Server Administration, and Security Operations
• Root Cause Analysis and Incident Resolution expertise
• Experience mentoring and leading technical teams

Nice To Haves

• PowerShell Scripting
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• SOC Experience

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SolarWinds monitoring environment
• Manage SIEM platforms, monitoring tools, and network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex server, network, and security issues
• Perform system upgrades, maintenance, and performance tuning
• Develop automation scripts and operational procedures
• Support disaster recovery and failover initiatives
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Lead technical projects and mentor junior team members
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
