About The Position

This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS). The selected candidate will be responsible for upgrades, operations and maintenance, hardware and software installations, and service requests (servers, workstations, phones, networking, and storage), as well as continuity of operations. We are seeking a Network Engineer/System Administrator team member to join our team supporting the Hanover and Annapolis Junction. In this fast-paced environment, you'll draw on your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to solve problems and be a contributing member of a highly skilled team. The primary function will be to organize, install, and maintain discrete classified networks.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly SP Required
  • U.S. Citizen Required
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification or Higher DoD 8572 qualified certificate within the first 60 days of employment (or ability to obtain)
  • Confident in OSI model, IP addressing and subnetting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering and IT support.
  • 2+ years of Windows OS experience
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and negotiations skills.
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to support, maintain, and administer complex applications

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security principles
  • General knowledge of DISA STIGs and hardening methods
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting LAN and WAN connections
  • Experience with classified network environments and familiarity with government security regulations.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems administration (Windows, 7, 10, 2008, 2012 and 2016)
  • Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, vCloud, vRealize, NSX, vSAN or VXRail)
  • Knowledge of implementing vulnerability compliance solutions (WSUS, SCCM, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, NESSUS)
