About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet products along with a strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and basic network security concepts. This role involves supporting network infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and assisting in the implementation of network solutions to ensure optimal performance and security. Demonstrates strong collaboration skills by working effectively with colleagues across teams, communicates professionally and confidently with customers when addressing inquiries or resolving issues, and provides prompt, clear, and customer‑focused responses to helpdesk tickets to ensure high‑quality support and a positive service experience. This role is primarily onsite and requires presence in facilities to support network operations; limited remote work may be available based on business needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall experience supporting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure in a production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet products
  • Have a working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and basic network security concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in network engineering
  • Experience with IPSEC VPNs, Juniper Mist wireless networking, and Fortigate Firewalls, Fortinet Endpoint Management Server (EMS) and Forticlient, and FortiNac.
  • Experience with MS Azure/AWS networking infrastructure and concepts.
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA or higher) or Fortinet NSE certifications.
  • Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Ansible) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Manage physical cabling (copper/fiber) in various data centers and remote offices.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of various network devices with various vendors and remote office contacts.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Respond to network-related incidents and provide timely resolution.
  • Work with user issues, support tickets.
  • Support network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on network design and implementation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Work with various vendors on support tickets and product implementation.
